Sardine commute
Sardine commute
Millions of sardines unite as one harmonious entity, creating a mesmerizing spectacle as they gracefully flow through the deep blue waters of the Philippines. The sardine ball off the coast of Moalboal on Cebu Island extends anywhere from 2 to 15 meters, continually shifting and reshaping itself. At times, they come together and envelop divers, creating a captivating sensation. These sardines are often accompanied by larger fish, such as mackerels and tuna. With a stroke of luck, one might even witness a thresher shark, known to prey on this remarkable underwater display.
